This painting is actually ~10 hours from completion. For the first time, a painting will be released before it is truly ready, so the colours on the female mallard will change, and the iridescence of the wings and gradients have not been added.

You can pick them up before the year-end show but you will need to bring them back between November 24-27, 2025.
Every painting will have a placard that acknowledges how the collector would like to be identified, such as: Generously on loan from ________.
Painting for Conservation is hosted generously by the Valley Zoo Development Society and is located at Conservation Station in the Saito Centre of the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Painting for Conservation:
50% of the animals selected for painting are at the zoo, 44% are featured on the conservation carousel, 56% are threatened or endangered in some way, 100% are Canadian, and almost all are from Alberta.

No returns on commissioned artwork.
Will accept returns or exchanges on artwork within 14 days after the painting arrives at your home as long as the customer: packs the art the same way it was shipped, covers all shipping costs including: signature required option and insurance for the value of the painting.
If in the rare circumstance that the artwork is damaged please email me (misty@mistyringart.com) photos of the box, of the artwork and we will talk about the options to remedy the situation to your satisfaction.
All artwork will be shipped with the utmost care so it arrives at your door the same way it left.
