I framed it a handmade moulding, made from Black Walnut—Canadian wood for a Canadian Collection. The photo is just for a mock up as every frame is a unique piece of art in itself. I chose each handmade form to complement and mimic what is going on in the painting. The wood is selected, cut, sanded, routed, cut, frame created, sanded again, and then oiled in a natural beeswax finish that is food-safe by the artist. It is a labour of love, to say the least, but my oh my, do they RADIATE.
 
 
Framed so that the watercolour floats in the centre to show off the torn edges (torn edges are very hard to photograph so in the images above it looks straight edged). The floating frame will play with the light even further enhancing the painting that is focused on nature, clouds, and light.
